Book Run

EDUPHILUSA BOOK RUN

The Friends of the Library (FOL), serving the Alachua County Library District, holds a bi-annual book sale in October and April. The book sale lasts five days and features donated books from the Gainesville community and Alachua County.

Any unsold books are available on the sixth day for non-profit organizations to pick up for free.

• Members determine which books are needed by their recipient schools in the Philippines.
• EDUPHIL volunteers drive to the warehouse to pick up the targeted books
• Books are then packed into balikbayan boxes and shipped to schools in the Philippines.
